Youth Climate Action Day

February 12th, 10am - 2pm

State House, Montpelier

Students from across Vermont are invited to take part in this day of learning and action. We'll hear from leaders in the divestment movement, meet with legislators, and take action to demand bold policies for Vermont to help prevent catastrophic climate change.

350Vemont is hosting the Youth Day of Climate Action to correspond with Global Divestment Day - a series of coordinated actions and events to demand the divestment from fossil fuel corporations. 

Last year, over 120 students from 8 schools participated in this event. Students spoke with Bill McKibben, engaged with legislators, and delivered testimony to a Senate committee deliberating on a divestment bill for Vermont's state pension.
