May 350VT Gathering (Virtual): Peakbusters!

Did you know that we (who are reading this!) can make the electric grid shift to renewables faster?

And that we can do this in ways that build community and also show what’s possible? 

It’s true! 

One of those ways is Peakbusting, the practice of communally reducing our electricity use when there is an excess demand, or peak, predicted on our electric grid.

This will be our monthly roving statewide gathering for May. Kendra Ford from 350NH/No Coal No Gas to share about Peakbusting and start taking some action together during the call!

This Spring and Summer, 350VT is excited to take part in this campaign. This is a fun and powerful opportunity to take tangible and impactful action (with the ultimate goal of shutting down all Peaker Plants in New England) while also building organizing skills, community, and our movement’s power.
