What does the election mean for our movements? Where do we want to go? How will we get there?
Join 350VT and our allies for an online gathering of activists to reflect on the election and the state of climate organizing in general. This is an opportunity to come together and celebrate. Grieve, collaborate, and nurture our movement for collective liberation and a livable planet!
Since our last convergence we’ve:
-Trained hundreds of activists
-Prevented fracked gas infrastructure from being built in Bristol, Monkton, and Rutland
-Lead a 65-mile march along the pipeline route and to the State House, followed by a huge public hearing on legislation to ban new fossil fuel projects
-Acted in solidarity with allies to defund police forces and abolish ICE
-Brought thousands together across the state for the youth-led 2019 Global Climate Strike
-Launched a campaign to plant 100,000 trees in 2 years
