350VT Climate Solutions Conversations: Community Geothermal

350VT Climate Solutions Conversations: Community Geothermal

How can we make one of the cleanest renewable energy systems a reality in Vermont?

Geothermal and other kinds of thermal energy can be harnessed safely, efficiently, affordably and equitably to heat and cool our buildings.  Even in a colder climate.  Even in a more rural state. Join us for a conversation about what we need to know and what we can do to implement this demonstrated solution in our communities. We’ll include:

  • An overview and a discussion of geothermal and other kinds of thermal energy networks, benefits, and examples of where they’re working
  • Hearing from you what we would need to make this a reality in our state
  • A brainstorm to collect your ideas for locations where we could get started
  • And next steps we can take to advance the policies and community conversations we need

We will send you a zoom link on the day of the event!
