Rescheduled Climate SOS Rally at the State House

February 23rd at noon, the State House lawn, Montpelier, VT

In 2022, the Vermont legislature has a huge opportunity to make real progress on the climate crisis and we need to support them to take bold action!  We're calling on them to enact

> Real and just solutions that will improve people's lives while slashing emissions, not more greenwashing and false solutions that put more money into the pockets of the utilities and th

eir shareholders.

> Energy solutions that are available to and benefit everyone!

Join the big winter Climate SOS rally on the State House lawn in Montpelier on Wednesday, Feb. 23rd, 12:00 noon.

We’ll ask our political leaders to right the ship of good policy by implementing strong, just legislation before we sink further into the climate crisis. Come join the artistic waves that will appear to engulf the State House. Bring your own flotation device, and become one of the “swimmers” seeking rescue from the climate emergency. A green or blue tarp or sheet is also welcome to add to the waves we plan to make.

Hear from inspiring speakers, make snow art, enjoy hot drinks, and lift up your voice with friends and fellow community members in determination to chart a new course forward.

Please wear a mask and stay home if you have symptoms! To sign up for carpooling click here. Co-sponsored by Youth Lobby, State House Fridays, VPIRG, BALE, Rights and Democracy, Vermont Renews Coalition, VT AFL-CIO, Standing Trees, and Vermont Extinction Rebellion. Reach out to [email protected] for more info.
